2023 is the second year in which Mazda Canada is offering the CX-5 in Sport Design trim, which adds red-trimmed black leather upholstery, distinct wheels, and red grille accents. In many ways, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 Sport Design builds off of Mazda's GT trim, a high-end version of Mazda's best-selling CX-5, equipped with predictive i-Activ all-wheel drive. 




Standard equipment levels are high on the 2022 Mazda CX-5, with everything from blind spot monitoring and rain-sensing wipers to Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and pushbutton start included. There's a lot of extras: power liftgate, 6-way power driver's seat, sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity access, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, radar cruise, pedestrian detection, and much more.




But the Sport Design trim level takes the CX-5 to another level, with the addition heated front and rear seats plus ventilated front seats, a 10-way power driver's seat with memory settings, a 6-way power passenger seat, 10-speaker Bose audio, a 10.25-inch Mazda Connect infotainment centre, LED lighting, adaptive front lighting, navigation, and heads-up display. There are also chunkier 19-inch tires that activate an even greater degree of exceptional Mazda handling.
